After earning a ton of respect in a decision loss to Mike Geurin, M-1 matchmaker Paul Andres rewarded TUF season 8 veteran Shane Primm (7-4) with an outstanding showcase fight with IFL veteran Bristol Marunde (8-6).

Yes, I was not a fan of the matchmaking of the last M-1 Global show in Atlantic City. Paul Andres (Raging Wolf) took over the book for the second show of the tournament series in June. That show featured 7 first round stops in 8 fights with 7 T/KO’s. A great weekend for fight fans is on tap, starting tomorrow in New Jersey. The team behind NAGA return to Atlantic City for the latest edition of their Reality Fighting MMA series. Kipp Kollar and his team come down to the Wildwood Convention Center on Friday night. Reality Fights Battle at the Beach is slated for 15 amateur bouts with some familiar names. Right now Jimbo Hoffman looms large on the card with his 7-1 record against a “TBA”. Hopefully somebody will step up and fight the Team Vendetta standout.
