Former WWF star, and long time mixed martial arts instructor Steve Blackman waded into the promoter’s pool late last year with PA Fighting Championships 1, which from all accounts was an excellent show. Blackman returns this weekend with PAFC 2, coming out of The Zembo in Harrisburg PA. This show will again be a pro am featuring some very young fighters. Among those on the card, is Raoul Smith, who’s fighting on a short flip after a three round decision victory last weekend for VFL

I’ve been forced to put the website on the back burner the last two days, the ultimate result being a job offer after 11 months of unemployment (thanks, 8 years of Republican economic policy). But I am going back to work in two weeks. That being said, I have neglected my second home here for the last two days. But, to get back on track, I bring you Valley Fight League 23: Mason Dixon Showdown 2, from Ted Czech’s favorite venue, Green Grove Gardens in Greencastle PA.
VFL 23 is anchored by Charlie The Spaniard Brenneman, the 10-1 welterweight who will fight next month for the VFL Welterweight title. Main eventing the fight is Maryland middleweight, Joey Kirwan who’s ripped off 3 straight wins since a TKO loss to Mike Geurin last April.

With the holidays, I definitely slacked getting these Valley Fight League results up. VFL 22: Mason-Dixon Showdown was held on the 18th in Greencastle PA. The following results are official as submitted to the PASAC. 10 fights scheduled, 1 fight (ThaShion Fulton vs Josh Lang) was cancelled. 6 amateur and 3 pro bouts, all fights refereed by Kevin Mulhall.

Lionell Royer’s Valley Fight League is back in action on Friday at the Green Grove Gardens in Greencastle PA. The VFL’s been out of action since October 11th. Friday’s show puts guys from north of the Mason-Dixon line against guys from the south. Twelve fights, 2 pro, one exhibition.
